For some reason or another I’ve been in a funk lately. I don’t know what it is, bad luck, bad timing or bad attitude. Whenever I get like this I can always hear my Mammy singing to me in my head.
Count your many blessings see what God has done…
So that’s what I’m going to do. What’s to be down about? I’ve got a wonderful wife. Wonderful friends and family surrounding me. My first child on the way. I’m truly blessed
Who knows, maybe it’s the news, politics. Maybe I just need to turn the television off. Just focus on what is in front of me, give the rest to God. My simple prayer has always been for peace in my heart. There is nothing God gives me I can’t handle. So this is my wake up call to cheer up….so cheer up! Joy really comes in the morning so sit back and wait until the next sunrise.
